Dave The Chimp

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Probably my favorite graffiti artist from Berlin.Born in an egg on a mountain top, Dave the Chimp paints graffiti without his name, and makes fanzines to switch on your brain.
He runs the 243rd Skateboarding Support Battalion, helped create Big Cheese Magazine and was a founder member of Finders Keepers Crew (along with D*Face, PMH, and Mysterious Al).
He was head designer at Hessen Metal Skateboard Hardware and Artist in Residence at design/advertising agency Fold7. Often seen wearing a BROWN PAPER BAG

Willaim Spencer Hallorado

The Denver Shop’s Hollerado video 2 years ago. Alot of people hate on this kid, calling him a novelty act and not a true skateboarder and all sorts of other bullshit, when in fact there is no way to say he is anything less than pure genius or at least pure madness.

Styled by Chloe Hartstein and photographed by Shawn Brackbill, Lyle Lodwick lends his face to daraGOY in efforts to showcase their range of t-shirts, currently on sale through special order at New York’s Rogan. “The muse of the line is ‘Fifa’, the stereotypical Russian woman who wears furs, stiletto boots, giant black sunglasses and lots of labels.” Also based on Russian pop culture and international female icons, the range is the result of fabric paints and stencils created by hands

April 77 Fall/Winter Collection

April 77's FW collection has completely gotten my attention. The Paris-based label takes the Bonanza scenarios painted all over Paris and makes them hip with navajo embroidered jeans, fringed flannel, and studded leather boots. The entire Fall collection is available not just in France, but everywhere in the world - even The Alamo - thanks to Internet commerce.

Keko Hainswheeler (London, UK)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Designer Keko uses rag and bone findings as inspiration for his collections.
Watching his opulent auntie is how designer Keko Hainswheeler initially got interested in fashion. “She was always smothered in bling and pearls” explains the London-based designer. “I could spend hours on end playing with her matching sets of jewellery. It was like an Alladin’s cave without the lamp, and I guess that was my first inspiration!”

Band Of The Day:Tokyo Police Club

I've been jamming to Tokyo Police Club ever since...maybe Junior year in highschool. Their completely amazing, not to mention Dave Monk's one of a kind voice.
Tokyo Police Club is a Canadian indie rock band from Newmarket, Ontario, consisting of singer and bassist Dave Monks, keyboardist Graham Wright, guitarist Josh Hook, and drummer Greg Alsop.Tokyo Police Club formed in 2005 while playing for fun in a basement after the four had disbanded from a previous group called Suburbia.Chris Golding (UK) was the vocalist for 2 months, before moving to the band The Wombats. The band started to gain attention and played some small shows throughout the Toronto area. With a buzz forming in Montreal, Tokyo Police Club was asked to play in the city's Pop Montreal festival, and soon after they signed with Toronto label Paper Bag Records.

Vintage leather combat boots with brass or silver stud detail throughout. Stud design and laces may vary as they are vintage and done by hand. Lace up closure and rubber sole. Sounds good to me,these are really nice minus the price anyone with $400 to toss on boots have at it.

If I were a girl, I'd probably shop Wildfox Couture.Wildfox Couture is an American vintage-inspired women’s knitwear brand. Combining great style and unsurpassed quality, Wildfox has quickly gained a cult-like following amongst celebrities and top retailers worldwide.

Childhood friends Emily Faulstich and Kimberley Gordon are the creative force behind Wildfox. Inspired by Native American artwork and vintage rock & roll t-shirts, the young designers gave birth to a brand that tells a story of their generation and friendship.

"She is the Native Heart, she is all neon light, she is a love child. She is a Wildfox."

Doubs Glove

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I'm a lover of finger-less gloves, I probably won't wear any other type of glove. Of course they had to be woman's gloves but then I really don't care because I'll wear anything that I like. They come in black and red as well, here is the description from Need Supply Co.

"Want to keep warm this winter and still be able to express your anger towards mean boys? Try these amazing wool gloves form Free People. They feature the perfect cutaway length and some amazing copper detail around the wrist. Great results for backhanding him if he doesn’t call you back." -Need Supply Co.

Well of course I wouldn't be using them for a "Boyfriend" but their still good fly swatters haha

AVAILABLE ONLINE FOR FREE is the first solo show of Graffiti Research Lab cofounder
Evan Roth. This exhibition contains new as well as past projects including
prints from the latest Jay-Z video and work that is in the permanent collection of the
MoMA NYC. Humor, activism, hip-hop and technology are frequent themes that carry
across multiple media, including custom software, lasers, prints and canvases. The
title of the exhibition, AVAILABLE ONLINE FOR FREE, references the friction
between the artist's interest in utilizing the web as a medium for freely sharing content
and ideas and the art world's interest in unique objects and limited editions. While
many of the works created for the gallery are indeed unique, they are also made
available for free online in their digital form.
